a fairground life (cumbria)

well hello everyone, forgive me for interrupting Blakey's Almanac of all lorries great and rubbish! I wont take long to update you (only have about 16min terminal time left and another £1 is not in the budget)
So I arrived at Egremont on Monday night. It took a little longer to get here as I TOOK THE WRONG ROAD! ( no need for blakey screening, I always tell the truth). So after getting some extra directions from Hagger and Fatso I promptly got even more lost! Not to worry, when I reached a 7.5t weight limit and the end of the road was nigh (literally) a local contractor turned me in his yard and gave me proper directions. So back up that steep hill (11%) out of Cockermouth and back on track. We arrived about 6:20pm and the DZ was erected for 8:30. That was Monday and I had a couple of lazy days until we opened last night. Hey biz was up 400% on last year and it was still crap so guess how bad it was the year before then? Any way I spent all this morning pulling the music amp to bit to try and find out why only one channel was working. After poking around with the guts of it I was no further forward. Not giving up so easy I started to flick switches on the back with obscure meanings like .77v, 1.4v, par, lift, gnd, ster, link etc and hey presto! both channels working. oh well, alls well that ends well. There that didn't take long now you can all tune back in to Blakey's informative all you don't need to know about lorries. A fountain of wisdom from a man who only passed his HGV this millenium. Mind you he is a quick study and managed to write off a car on his first day out on lessons, impressive to say the least.

It was'nt a write of as you well know, and the other driver excepted all responsability for the accident. He pulled out in front of me and i would'nt have missed him if i'd been in my car.
Nice try at trying to discredit me ,but you wont get rid of me that easily. The countdown will continue.

except (ikˈsept)
preposition : meaning
not including

we don't have to try and make a fool of you, that you can do on your own and i believe the word you were looking for is accepted. As shown above form the oxford english dictionary. Excepted would mean it was your fault or would using the wrong word be a Freudian slip on your behalf, hence admitting guilt ?

Oh and just for the record, saying you wouldn't have missed him of you were in your car doesn't mean you were driving the lorry safely. Though it does cast a shadow of doubt upon you ability to drive your car.

Should that not be if you were in. At least i can spell two letter word's properly. Note to showman.I seem to remember you were asked to rate the various lorries, and it was you who passed the baton to me.Did you not state that you though i was better qualified. So i ask you. whats the point of trying to discredit me now. Like most of what you write,it does'nt make any sense.

typographical error a small mistake but devastating non the less just like mixing up the throttle and brake when driving a lorry small mistake but devastating to the man who's car was written off. lol

Might be jumping the gun, but not heard anything bad about the ERF EC11's? out of roughly 100 drivers, half can't drive them (we only have about 4 units left) because they have twin splitters & the other half can't fit behind the massisve steering wheel???

still around borderer, bussiness has been slow, the media are busy scareing this country into a recession. Not much left to do this year, couple of fireworks nights and a lights switch on and thats it, too blooming cold anyway.
Hiding at my indoor haunt until next summer, time for some painting and tidying up. Hope all well and the missing wanderers re appear!
